Ingredients
  

  • 2 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon of minced garlic
  • 4 cups of broccoli florets approximately 1 large head of broccoli
  • 1 tablespoon of black pepper
  • ½ tablespoon of sea salt

Instructions
 

  • Start by boiling water in a pot. Place only the broccoli florets into the boiling water and cook for 1 minute. This quick blanching process ensures the broccoli remains vibrant green and slightly tender. Remove the broccoli and set it aside.
  • Clean the sauté pan and place it on medium heat. Add 2 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil and 1 tablespoon of minced garlic. Let the garlic cook until fragrant, ensuring it doesn’t burn. This step infuses the oil with a rich, garlicky flavor.
  • Add the blanched broccoli florets to the pan with the garlic-infused oil. Sprinkle 1 tablespoon of black pepper and 1/2 tablespoon of sea salt over the broccoli. Stir well to coat each piece evenly with the seasoning and oil.
  • Continue stir-frying the broccoli for 3-5 minutes, or until the flavors are thoroughly infused. The broccoli should be tender yet slightly crisp.
