1package4 lbs Mama DePandi Meatballs (frozen, fully cooked)
3cupstomato saucepreferably Mama DePandi’s or homemade marinara
2tablespoonsolive oilif heating sauce in a pan
½teaspoonItalian seasoningoptional, for extra flavor
¼cupgrated Parmesan cheeseoptional, for topping
Fresh basil leavesoptional, for garnish
Instructions
The night before, remove the number of meatballs you plan to use and place them in the fridge to thaw. Keep the rest sealed and frozen.
In a large skillet or saucepan, add olive oil and heat over medium. Pour in your tomato sauce and stir in Italian seasoning if using.
Gently place thawed meatballs into the sauce. Let them simmer uncovered for 20–25 minutes, stirring occasionally to coat them evenly.
Once heated through, sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and garnish with fresh basil. Let sit for 2 minutes before serving.
Serve hot over pasta, rice, inside a hoagie roll, or on a pizza. These meatballs work for any meal-from cozy dinners to party sliders.
