Ingredients
  

  • 3 tbsp light or dark brown sugar
  • 3 tbsp smoked sweet paprika
  • 2 tsp chili powder
  • 2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 2 tsp dried thyme
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 2 tsp black pepper

Instructions
 

  • In a small mixing bowl, add brown sugar, chili powder, smoked sweet paprika, garlic powder, dried thyme, onion powder, salt, and black pepper.
  • Use a whisk or spoon to mix everything until well combined. Make sure the brown sugar is evenly distributed to prevent clumps.
  • If you’re not using the rub immediately, transfer it to an airtight container. Store in a cool, dry place for up to 3 months.
